Collection: Worsted Weight Yarn

Worsted weight yarn is the workhorse of knitting and crochet. It's a medium weight (weight 4) that usually knits up at 16–20 stitches per 4 inches on US 7–9 needles. It's quick to work, easy to see your stitches, and right for almost anything: sweaters, hats, mittens, blankets and toys. If a pattern doesn't say what weight to use, it's very often worsted.
