Malabrigo Dos Tierras 338 Paracas

Paracas is colour 338 of Malabrigo Dos Tierras.

Dos Tierras ("two lands") blends Uruguayan merino with Peruvian baby alpaca, half and half, in a plied DK weight. The alpaca adds warmth and drape; the merino keeps it springy and easy to knit.

• Fiber: 50% merino wool, 50% baby alpaca
• Weight: DK (3)
• Skein: 210 yds (192 m) / 100 g
• Needles: US 5–6 (3.75–4 mm)
• Gauge: 20–22 sts = 4" (10 cm) in stockinette
• Care: Hand wash cold; lay flat to dry

Good for: sweaters, cowls, hats, cables and textured stitches.

Every skein is hand-dyed, so colour shifts a little from skein to skein and lot to lot. Buy enough for the whole project, and on larger pieces alternate two skeins every few rows.
