Multi-Directional Triangle Scarf (Artyarns P68) is a modular scarf knitting pattern by Iris Schreier, built from a chain of garter-stitch triangles that change direction as you go and finished with fringe. It comes in two versions, a one-colour scarf in Artyarns Ultramerino and a two-yarn scarf that alternates Ultramerino with Silk Ribbon, and it is an easy introduction to modular knitting that shows off hand-painted yarn.
You can change the cast-on to make the scarf wider or narrower, and keep adding triangles to the length you want.
