Knit in garter stitch lace from the center back neck down, the side edges are bound off in the lace edging, and the top is finished with I-cord.Blocked Size: Approx 43" (109cm) deep and 90" (229cm) across top.For a smaller shawl, go down a needle size for a slightly tighter gauge. This will use slightly less yarn.Needles: US size 6 (4mm) 29" or 32" (72 or 80 cm) circular needle and a set of double pointed needles in the same size.You will also need a size 8 (5 mm), or larger, double pointed needle and another spare dp or circular about 2 sizes smaller than the shawl needle.Yarn Requirements: Approx 1200 yds (1097m) of lace weight yarn.
