The Marigold Bears Knit/Felt Pattern (202x)

The Marigold Bears is a knit-and-felt teddy bear pattern from Fiber Trends (FT202) by Bev Galeskas, with optional clothes: coat, trousers, boots and a felt hat.

The bears are knit large and felted down. Test-felt your yarn first; bleached white and many off-white yarns won't felt.

• Craft: Knitting
• Finished size: 12–18" tall
• Yarn: Worsted weight wool, mohair or alpaca that felts well: about 450 yds for a solid-colour bear. With clothes: head and hands 110 yds, coat 160, trousers or legs 75, boots 40, felt hat 100
• Needles: US 10½ straight needles for the bear; 16" circular and double-pointed in the same size for the hat
• Gauge: 3 sts = 1" (2.5 cm) before felting
