Knitting for Peace Flag Knitting Pattern

Peargirl Knits Patterns. I’ve always wanted to knit my own Peace Prayer Flags, so here they are! 2 skeins of each color are needed to knit this colorful banner in Cotton Classic (there are 5 colors). Duplicate Stitch or Intarsia may be used for the letters, and slip stitch crochet is used around the edges. Written instructions as well as charts for the color work are included.  Yarn weight: DK  Gauge: 22 stitches and 24 rows = 4 inches in Stockinette Stitch Needle size: US 5 - 3.75 mm or size needed to obtain gauge Hook size: 3.75 mm (F) Yardage: 900 - 1000 yards (823 - 914 m)
