Malabrigo Mora Mulberry Silk Yarn 33 Cereza

Cereza (Spanish for "cherry") is colour 033 of Malabrigo Mora.

Mora is pure mulberry silk from Malabrigo, plied four ways into a strong, lustrous fingering weight. Silk takes dye with real depth, so the colours come out especially rich.

• Fiber: 100% mulberry silk

• Skein: 225 yds (206 m) / 50 g
• Needles: US 1–2 (2.25–2.75 mm)
• Gauge: 28–30 sts = 4" (10 cm) in stockinette
• Care: Hand wash cold; lay flat to dry

Good for: shawls, scarves, fine garments and small luxuries.

Every skein is hand-dyed, so colour shifts a little from skein to skein and lot to lot. Buy enough for the whole project, and on larger pieces alternate two skeins every few rows.
