Noro Ohajiki 02 Toda is a self-striping cotton silk yarn from Noro of Japan in bright turquoise with flecks of magenta, moss green and orange. Ohajiki blends cotton with silk, wool and viscose, so it has more bounce than plain cotton and a gentle tweedy texture, with the long, gradual colour changes Noro is known for. Each 150 g cake holds 459 yards.

The name comes from ohajiki, a traditional Japanese children's game played with colourful sea glass and shells, and the flecks of colour scattered through the yarn echo those little glass pieces.

  • Fibre: 50% cotton, 20% silk, 15% wool, 15% viscose
  • Weight: DK / light worsted (CYC 3, Light)
  • Put-up: 150 g cake, 459 yds (420 m)
