Up Town Tote Knitting Pattern

Up-Town Tote is a felted bag knitting pattern from Fiber Trends (AC-61) by Bev Galeskas. Stripes of eyelash novelty yarn give it the look of fur in natural colours, or try bright ones for a different look.

It's knit with a double strand of wool and then felted. Avoid superwash and bleached white wools, which won't felt.

• Finished size: About 15" wide × 12" deep (38 × 30 cm), after felting
• Yarn: 765 yds worsted weight wool that felts easily, plus 130 yds of extra-thick eyelash novelty yarn
• Needles: US 13 (9 mm) 24" circular; two US 11 (8 mm) double-pointed
• Gauge: 10 sts = 4" (10 cm) in stockinette with doubled wool, before felting
